We are not clinical enough when we are dominating. First half BHA were awful, conceded one from long range 2nd half Saints were awful, concede 2 sloppy ones
Since RK left we can't play for 90 minutes We play well for the first half but don't score enough to put teams away and then go to sleep at half time resulting in us dropping deeper and deeper until we concede again and again This is like Groundhog Day
It is not the only way, but it is the easiest way. And easy is what we need as our team isn’t great. Brighton would obviously have their tails up after getting the first goal, would be coming forward leaving space in behind. Hoofing the ball Long and winning some throw ins in Brighton’s half would’ve been the most effective way to see that out. Alternatively if their data was saying Long was ****ed and had to come off, don’t replace him with another forward. Bring an extra centre mid on to at least make us hard to play through.
Bollocks. Yet another decent 45 minutes, followed by amateurish 2nd half. To be fair to Brighton, they deserved....no **** it, they didn't deserve anything, we ****ing gifted them a point and nearly gave them all 3. Am back to hoping that we stay up.
I'm sick of people saying this. We should have buried Brighton. It just simply isn't good enough to keep blowing leads. I'm really starting to lose patience with JWP. And Davis should go back to Rangers. Not a PL player anymore. That was a really poor sub from Hughes.
****s, utter utter ****s An unbelievably poor goal to concede immediately after the second, keep it tight for just 5-10 minutes after that and we'll be fine. Davis was a poor sub at the wrong time, needed to leave Ings on so we have some form of outlet rather than camp on the edge of our box for 10 minutes. Oh and Long>Gabbi, can't be any doubt about this in our current set up now surely?
I don’t get the angst towards JWP on the penalty. If that is a penalty when a 5’8” leans into a 6’4” CB, when a Player wrestling another to the floor (Murray on Wes first half) isn’t a foul, then football is getting it so wrong. Zero consistency.
Time to bring Gabbi in from the cold if SFC are playing 2 up front. Long is a Championship player and the longer Hughes persists with Long, then said división is our destination.

Fats, I have to disagree on this one. JWP did more than just lean on him, he ran into the back of him. It was even sly with it which makes it even worse. Stupidity at its best. Agree with zero consistency. Overall, we only have ourselves to blame. The first goal for starters was headed in on the 6 yard box from a very deep free kick.
I'm not going to moan about it being given because it's probably technically a penalty these days. There should be 5+ a game if that's the case though. #noncontactsport
Agreed but things notiveably changed when Shane came off. Gabbi's composure let him down towards the end too
