I think Klopp would switch it up slightly. Shaqiri and Studge aren't the right options for this game. Keita didn't do to bad on a more advance role. Maybe put Milner RW with Salah central?
Milner goes where he likes anyway. He has the discipline to stick to his job if instructed to, but I think that might make him less effective. I can see XS coming on and Mo being moved to the middle, but like some others on here I don't like him there really. The obvious direct replacement is Sturridge, but although he's clever he takes more time on the ball so we'll still have to play differently, imo.
Andy Robertson Says Liverpool Will Ignore Any Playacting from Neymar in UCL https://bleacherreport.com/articles...medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=world-football
I would play Sturridge. Every time he’s come on (including pre season), he has played centrally and dropped deeper. I think he would create a lot of space for Mane and salah. There will be a huge drop off in work rate, but very little in terms of footballing ability. Also - I wouldn’t change the midfield. We have looked most dominant without Henderson. Gini has been immense as a number 6, Keita has been very good defensively but can do more on the ball and Milner is a player reborn. It works.
Gini has improved significantly since the beginning of the season. I was of the opinion Klopp was to sell him last summer.
He was a ghost as the number 8. Hardly touched the ball. But as the 6, he’s constantly on the ball, getting away from players and defending well.

deffo against Chelsea in LC - i would be sending out a 3rd string for that game but Saints don't want too many.
