Perhaps if you could be bothered to proffer a completion percentage, people might be more inclined to listen. Just a thought.
Heard this during the summer from someone who had been asked to join the consortium. Personally I cannot see this happening unless the club is handed back for a nominal fee. It doesn't make you a 'bad person' BnAG. I found it reassuring that there are local people out there who are willing to take the club on, meaning there is interest in the club.
There has always been interest in buying the club. The problem is it's never realistically been for sale. And I wouldn't be surprised if the plan is to finish off pulling out as much money as possible and then sell for nothing, or a pound. They must know by now that no one is going to pay them tens of millions for something that they've deliberately turned into a liability. The nominal fee sale is surely the plan at this point.
It's been around a while this rumour. Owner of MKM is worth £200m and is a big City supporter. There's a supposed consortium with him, and various people including Adam Pearson...so the rumours go Boanas and Jones unlikely
Still penny pinching at the club, the big Polly Training dome has been put back, was due late summer , now put back again ...
I wasn’t suggesting you’re a bad person at all I was just chipping in to help join dots. MKM have a very small, tightly knit Board so I was simply pointing out that the ones you mentioned weren’t on it. Consortium sounds more likely than anything so fingers crossed I’m hoping...but assuming the worst (the A’s staying)
A month or so back, Dave Kilburn said he couldn’t be less interested in buying City. He’s the owner of MKM. Don’t hold your breath.
Dave Kilburn, that was him. So it's a load of ****e then that this geezer was spouting...I feel so used.
another penny pinching cut back on investment ~ hopefully another sign they are preparing to leave, however their penny pinching has gone on for years & the academy & juniors will not have the training facility they deserve ...
Not sure where I was but he was wearing arseless chapps and an American Police cap. My Sitting Bull outfit did not seem out of place though.
Funny enough i sold a pair of chaps on Friday to some bloke who said he was going to buy City again. Think his name was Wilby..
