The owner of Wetherspoons is a very experienced proven successful businessman who has created a super business employing thousands of people. Something a civil servant would never understand or have the stomach to attempt.
You have very little knowledge of the real world.

 

No Brexiteer I know has ever said the UK does not need immigration. The benefit of Brexit is that the UK gets to decide not Brussels, simple really.

Any views on Boris Johnson making pretty irresponsible comments or are you just going to make sly ill informed digs at us all today?

 

It is easy to make assumptions on some of your comments which you obviously know little about. I would rather take notice of somebody who has vast experience creating wealth, jobs, and ultimately creating an excellent product which benefits the less well off.

The Wetherspoons head office is based in Watford securing many jobs locally, how many jobs have you ever created with your own money?

 

What's that got to do with the price of apples? You, as always have twisted what I posted. The reference to the resident clown in Wetherspoons was suggesting Boris is acting like a pub loony. If I was going to criticise Tim Martin I would have named him.

No swerve at all. I am well acquainted with Mr Martin and had I wanted to slag him off I would have named him.

 

A member of my family was an area manager and I got invited to a few pub openings and other events and he was there so I've met him a few times - spoke mainly about cricket and rugby actually. If I was going to make something up on here it would be a bit more interesting than that.

Actually there are no clowns in parliament - none of them could do this job. Being a clown is a very hard job. Clowns have a lot of makeup and complicated costumes - it can take up to 2 hours to get ready for an event. In most cases clowns must provide their own costumes (wig, nose, shoes ect.) - money for obtaining these mostly comes directly from the clown's pocket. Clowns are also responsible for creating their own 'character' - this requires a far higher level of creativity and imagination than that possessed by the average MP, together with a high tolerance of working hours.

Clowns are normally the 'face' of a circus - having seen some institutions eg. the House of Commons described as a 'circus' I can assure you, it isn't, because there is nothing more organized and professional than a circus. If something should go wrong eg. an accident, it is normally the job of the clown to distract the audience and get things back on track - something which the PM could never do.
This is not to mention the vital work done by clowns with dying and sick children - imagine how difficult it must be to spend hours with a dying child, trying to get them to crack a smile and trying not to cry yourself. So no, there are no clowns in parliament - we may call some of them that, but the real clowns would be very insulted by this.

 

Whilst eating my paella in a Spanish restaurant last week I noticed Roberto, the Spanish owner, tucking into a full English breakfast with HP sauce. We distribute own culture far and wide.

The problem is he appears to have broken the UK down to those who voted Brexit and those who voted remain - and one group are right on everything and the others wrong on everything.
He also appears to assume that the rest of us think like that when most don't. I have a lot of respect for some people who voted out. It doesn't define them as individuals and to think otherwise is folly. Hey ho.
