Only those who have gone through it themselves know how painful it is. My condolences.

Taff...it's a bit repetitive but I too am very sorry to hear about your father. I don't know if it was sudden or might have been expected, but it does not matter, it is still a shock when it happens either way. All you can do is struggle on and let the family support each other. It gets easier with time but I miss my old man even after 33 years. I am still finding out things now that astound me and if there is any advice I would give now it is to badger the older generation to tell all about their lives and your father's.

At my age taff i have been through losing all my family members that were mostly older than me and are now top of the family chain. I lost my mam as early as 1961 through cancer, she was born in 1915 and my dad died in 1983 and the older you get the more frequent the older generation departs. It is a horrible feeling i know but life must go on until it is our turn to go....keep your chin up,,,,,

Strange game Saturday and I was very surprised to see what I though was going to be a rip-roaring game turn out to be as bland and grey as Saturdays weather. I thought there'd be goals galore, how wrong was I?

    Disappointments,
Was looking forward to seeing Forrest play but the mentality they had on Saturday showed them up to be nothing more than a bottom half Championship club. Their supporters were fowl too. They won't go up, they dont have the bottle for it.
Thought we were too quick in stepping back when Forrest got stuck in to us. We didn't recover our composure all game but what was more disappointing was we didn't look like up for the fight.

Potter saw it too and with the injuries, in the second half went defensive to save a point which to our defense's credit, we got.

Mackay: well off the pace, thought he'd want to show up against his old club but went into a shell instead.
Disappointment doubled when Potter took him off, no problem there, and move our sole striker out onto the left wing, big problem there. Why have Routledge and Dyer on the bench if he's no intention of using them, wasted opportunity imo and begs the question, is Potter under instruction not to play players the club can't make money out of in the next transfer window?

My thoughts were that Potter was saving Dyer for the right wing but no, he brings on Asoro who has proved in every game he's played in that he is out of his depth and is a league one player at best, which begs the question, is Potter under instruction not to play players the club can't make money out of in the next transfer window?

Why were Narsingh and Olsson not even on the bench? which begs the question.........................

Will be interesting to see what the owners penny pinching exercise will do to us on Tuesday. Just how much are we going to rue not signing Ryan Woods, or anyone for that matter. The tragedy of it is that he allegedly had his bags packed and was ready to come here but after 'due diligence' and consideration the asset strippers put personal avarice ahead of the success of the club and chose to pocket the cash instead. In his first game for Stoke Woods put in a MotM performance, wonder what damage he will do to us on Tuesday.

The bottom line. It's so depressing. There is literally no hope for the foreseeable future. And I know you wrote "due diligence and consideration" sarcastically as well, which makes it even bleaker.

Thing is stumpy you are not paid to manage you pay to watch and dont have a clue why some players are not included in any game... There are plenty of reasons why players are left out and i can assure you that you wont know any of them but potts does and that is why we are in the top half in 6th place and 3 points from Leeds...
