Nearly nicked a point at the end.
Ok we lost but we didn't give up and gave it our all again. Shows we are not afraid of anyone this year.
What is impressing me this season is the quicker and more accurate passing, especially when passing short. Also we are winning more balls back.

Full Time : Watford 1-2 Man Utd.

The score says little about the game.

Seems that he has done more PL matches than any other ref. First half he seemed ok, but second half he went to pot. Maybe he should go and train with the Watford team who seem to be pretty fit.

We really could have drawn the Palarse game, 2 points gained there, 1 lostctoday. 5 games, 12 points, scoring every game, averaging 2 per game, conceding 1per game. Looks good to me.

Good performance save for 15 minutes or so before half time when they got the 2 goals and put us under a lot of pressure.

Unlucky to not nick a point at the end.

Pretty strong and powerful weren't they? - Jose had done his homework but we still kept going and created chances.

Moany got his team selection and tactics spot on. Then dean let them utilise those tactics by not sanctioning the cynical fouls or the persistent infringement. Frustrating.

  15. I agree with Mark and Fez. But wow! People round me were saying this was the worst Man United team ever and one expert said their only decent player was Sanchez <doh>. They played really well today and are going to be in the mix. After 90 minutes they were screaming for the whistle.

The crowd is getting better and better - the atmosphere was as good as the last 20 in the Spurs game. And our defending in the second half was exceptional - at least three clean tackles in the box.

I loved it - yeah I am disappointed obviously but this was, barring the obvious, a very good performance

Given that three seasons ago we never believed we had any chance against top six clubs.. We have really progressed.. I was very impressed with some great passing moves.. And their goalie saved them at the death

Think its more the style Man U play now that puts their fans off liking Jose and his team - hardly the vintage free flowing style of the Sir Alex Ferguson era they all enjoyed.
