As said, you get an injury in one eye and both eyes swell up. I should imagine Bobby is on painkillers (it ****ing hurts, believe me) and anti-inflammatories. May well have his eyes bandaged or patched too. very, very clumsy and reckless by Vertonghan - don't think he seriously meant to gouge him though. That said, if you stick your hand in someone's face you should expect it to cause damage.
3 points away to Tottenham is an achievement. Tottenham is the only London club Jurgen Klopp has not beaten on the road.
We now need another five wins in a row. Yes, we can do it, including these. WWWWW Southampton H Chelsea A Manchester city H Huddersfield A Cardiff city H
Had a tennis ball and a squash ball right in the eye, not at the same time one after the other Tennis one was a smash by a guy with no control at all but a lot of power, it was going in the back fence if it hadn't hit me first. Also had another one, not as bad, when playing a match and we were warming up serves, I just tried to catch the ball with my racket off his serve but it spun up off the strings and grazed my eye area. No lasting damage from either but my eye was streaming both times for a long time Squash one was just one of those things, it happens sometimes (rarely) when you're in front because you're so confined and have to look behind at the ball All of them gave me nice deep green, black, red, blue and brown ball shaped marks for a bit
What sport were you playing that you had a tennis ball thrown squash ball in the eye one after the other? You know what they say, fool me once shame in you, fool me twice shame on me.
Joking aside I could see them frustrating you, unless Klopps mate puts the points on a platter again.... I was quite impressed with them at Goodison the other week, they’re a ****ing enormous side when you see them in the flesh.
You need to go practise on a less brutal board mate, come back and play with the big boys once you’ve upped your game
