I would say but some may disagree, but I think Frankie gave her a poor ride to some degree. About 20 lengths off the pace but makes up 15 although she did run green with her head up. I think if she was closer to the pace she wins. I'm now on baked beans for the rest of the week
She was outstayed by the winner. Southern France finished 3rd. Raymond Tusk finished 6th so not good enough...but basically lah di tar backers won diddly squat
listowel,4 40: well, not sure, what to make of DAMUT here,as he has only one current standout effort so far,but that effort was,in fact,a very good one,as he beat the very useful rashaan in a beginners chase at limerick.also was quite good over hurdles once, but that is a long time ago.but still i think,he can go well e w..
I think she stayed as well as Kew Gardens. She just gave him too much of a head start and showed definite signs of inexperience. Good to hear she will be in training next year. Much more to come from her.
Nice to see Prendergast with another proper 2yo for Hamdan. Madhmoon, Too Darn Hot and Ten Soveriegns in the Dewhurst would be class to see. Apparently going for the Racing Post if he runs again this year though
leopardstown,5 25,MATRON STAKES not easy for me as alpha centauri and LAURENS are both my favourite fillies, but at the relevant odds,i have to go with the latter, who apart from last time out,is also going places so far.i just hope, she doesnt go head to head with the fav early on,and then burns out.but danny tudhope will do right surely, top jock..
Interesting that they decided to bring Study of Man over after his last performance, suppose they have nothing to lose with him already being a Jockey Club winner. Still, I expect him to run a big race as his last run was too bad to be true and they must be happy with him since. Backing him at 10/1 out of loyalty.
yes, fantastic ride, gradually winding up the pace!feel just a bit sorry for poor p j mcdonald.but the main credit has to go to the horse, shes so tough, what a fighter!!
