Actually a very very good header that. Weve been very sloppy in the final third, Salah should have put away his chance and if got couple passers correct then could have had more. Gini then, again wrong option. Just needed to lift his head and knock it square...
It was a cracking header; on target and he somehow generated a decent amount of power. Should be saved still but I'll take it. Salah looks very rusty still. Not sure what the answer is though, he's already got goals and assists this season.
well should be really pleased with being 1-0 up away to another of the contenders but actually quite frustrated as with more precision in final 3rd we could already have had revenge for last year. Great header by Gini Oliver living down to the expectations of both boards
Tell you had that goal not stood there was a clear pen for holding on VVD by Vertoghen arm locked over shoulder and round chest
Totally agree I am certain spurs will not play that badly second half Certain we will concede one maybe two quick, so probably need 3
The linesman did not signal for our goal. Did he not see it or does he hear the "beep" when the ball crosses the line like the ref does? Thought we played well that half, except the finishing. Spurs seem to think Lovren is playing for us as they are pumping the ball forwards like they did against us last season. Hope no one tells them Lovren is not playing as I think VVD and Gomez have looked very comfortable dealing with the high balls in. We need to stop taking to much time on the edge of our own box as we have been caught out a few times. Just get shut!!!
I'm a bit worried for Son coming on, think he is a really good player and could cause us problems - especially if he is against TAA
