The fact that you even listen to that bell end undermines your entire credibility.

You are nothing more than a guitar collector <laugh>

Your claim to fame is playing in a bad where the singer sounds like a trapped cat FACT! And you have no technical ability FACT!

And FACT is FACT as claimed by @FosseFilberto

You are a true musicians friend though, give you that, because dumb nuts like you buy them at max retail price, then sell them cheap on ebay <laugh>

@DUNCAN DONUTS isn't Grove Ranger a guitar collector. Maybe him and HiaG should meet up, would be like two pedes in a pod.

No idea , I'm pretty bored with the Haig saga tbh.

You should ban a few ****s to shake things up again.

  8. This is my main gigging guitar, shot at a recent gig. Palm Bay Tempest.JPG

It's the Palm Bay Tempest. Beautiful flame maple cap sat atop a mahogany body. Nice "C" profile maple neck with satin finish, and ebony fretboard. The DiMazio pickups were specially designed for this guitar, and you cannot buy them except with this model. Gotoh fittings include a licenced Floyd Rose locking trem-system.

The neck profile is somewhat chunkier than a typical shredders axe, but I prefer it for live work, and find it very comfortable for a couple of hours' playing. The pickups are quite high output, but have great punch and clarity.

  10. Incidentally, both pickups are coil-tapped, so that in combination with the three-way selector-switch I have about 12 different tones.

  12. @brb do you know where Skiddy is playing, tonight?

    Oh, yeah... that's right.

    The bell end doesn't play.

Sorry. I though you were saying something about Skiddy being an expert in guitars and guitar playing?

I must have been mistaken, yeah?

    You know your p/ups, Bodi.

I've never got on with EMGs. They're too shreddy for the style of music my band plays and the kind of stuff that I typically record in my studio. Too much output destroys the character of the guitar and the amp, to my ears. I also like to leave a lot of room for expression in the fingers. With those high output p/ups, the immense distortion tends to mask everything else.

That said, there are some great technical exponents of the art who swear by EMGs.

Aye. I was just kidding around. :p
Not much use for EMG's if you are doing Folk music and stuff.

  20. Yeah? So what?

99.9% of working musicians play these kinds of clubs very week.

What are you trying to say? That to get up and play a gig like this you don't actually have to be able to play an instrument?
