Saw an Elvis impersonation done entirely through the medium of mime the other day. Just like any other Elvis impersonation only with a little less conversation.
Cheers Skidby, as for the question on the vid, I have some friends who have recently visited Berlin and said that it was fantastic, never been myself, would love to walk through Checkpoint Charlie as I have read so many spy stories involving that place, one of my fave books, John Le Carre's, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, is one of them.
Went to a couple of Heritage Day things yesterday, as usual other things to deal with so never got the University, but I did go to the old Stepney railway station on Bev Rd. Unfortunately it hasn't been well maintained, but is now a learning centre run by a Turkish couple I think. Well I got a leaflet advertising Turkish lanuage lesson, guitar lessons etc, just a few old photographs of how it used to be, the gates closed on Bev Rd etc. The then it was on to The History Centre and a lecture on the History of Anlaby Rd, quite a few at that, but the main annoying thing is that having got a Heritage Dave brochure it turns out that a lot of stuff going on starts at the same time of the day, so you pick on item and miss all the others.
In a similar vein I once saw an Indian guy do an Elvis number in a pub karaoke night. He was called Gerupta Singh.
