As OLM said you can't just make up numbers, the numbers would be supported in the Notes of the accounts: As to the support behind that number, that's for the auditors to look into and substantiate. The auditors seem pretty second rate though, the layout of the FS is pretty amateur. EDIT: Just tried going to their website and it re-directs here: https://www.hull-humber-chamber.co.uk/members/jacksons-chartered-accountants Maybe you guys locally know them and they're fine but to me that screams dodgy.
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-citys-accounts-might-envy-2001949 Headline - Hull City's accounts might be the envy of the Championship but the well is running dry. What a stupid headline. The accounts aren't the P&L. £60odd million pound in debt to a pair of utter ****s.The club on the edge of a cliff. Non parachute payment revenue dropping like a stone to next to nothing. Next to no assets of our own, and even the player assets (in truth) now worth next to nothing. Yeah rite. There must be so many CCC clubs looking at us green with envy. Yet again, Allam's getting implied credit for a total **** up.
at least we have the truth about attendances last season - a measly 12.5k - apparently more go this season if the announced attendances are to be believed - its like the old adage -'how do you know if the Allams are lying' - they're speaking
Are we really 60 million in debt? Clever accounting? Imp or Saxton?? Is the money elsewhere? Will we only find out if they finally go?
Yes we owe Allamhouse 63 million pounds. Its not clever anything. They are incompetent. They overspent twice under Bruce and we are now suffering the financial hangover.
Bruce ****ed up, end of - and that's why we are where we are - at least he's not doing us any more harm and he's now ****ing up Villa - at least their fans already think he's a useless **** - the penny still hasn't dropped with one or two of ours
One of the few things Ehab got right. We'd have been in a worse state if he hadn't said no to his father.
its my understanding that the auditors are a one man outfit - a relative of mine used to work with the guy at another accountancy practice. Allamhouse group are likely to be by far his biggest client.
He used to work for a larger local firm who used to do the Allam Marine audit and worked on that audit before he set up on his own.
