I don't think we were defensively better. Two strikers will probably last a little while longer, until one of them gets injured, then it'll be back to Puel/Pellegrino's team. I still feel like Brighton are underrated, but they haven't really integrated their good new players yet. Hopefully they haven't been working on that in the last two weeks.
Hughes will have a plan. Whether he'll have the personnel to execute that plan, who knows. But I don't expect a defensive line-up. We need to move it around quickly in their half, so I would expect Hojbjerg, Redmond and Elyounoussi behind Ings and yeah, possibly Gabbi. Lemina in front of the back four. Maybe.
I'm always like it when I do nights, all the days become a big blob Last one thank **** so done now until Saturday afternoon.
I’m now pleased this is on a Monday. Father in law is here his weekend and I can’t watch any game with him, let alone a Saints game!
People joke about mothers-in-law but fathers-in-law are far worse. I wouldn't like to ask my sons-in-law what they think of me as it would probably echo what many of you on here think and that would be very hurtful and difficult to take.
Gabbi must be licking his lips.... surely he starts with Danny now? Get the ball wide and whipped across for him, or better still have the midfield looking up to thread balls between their CBs and FBs for Gabbi to run onto, like West Ham at home last season.
