That's ridiculous. Our railway system is a complete embarrassment compared to other countries. I'm getting the coach up. Takes the flexibility out of the journey but it is also only £25. And I can have a few drinks.

My wife is deaf in one ear. Lost her hearing 7 years ago after having a minor cold that ended up attacking her nerve endings. She has an NHS hearing aid but never used it (or any).

Balance is her biggest issue but some say being deaf in one ear is a benefit when living with me :(

I liked it for the last comment, not the fact she has lost her hearing :)

It is a bonus living with Mrs No7 too

The last time I had my hearing tested it was putting blocks into an empty ice cream tub... bet it's changed a lot now. I didn't have any problems from the age of like 12 until a few years ago so they might just need syringing or something.

Any STH's with high away count not doing Bournemouth?

And on that note, have Octobers tv games been confirmed?

I just looked on the Official Site for info about Bournemouth Away and saw this:

    "Ticket Information: Bournmeouth v Saints"

Is this an attempt to disparage Bournemouth by mis-spelling their name, or the result of giving the job of updating Saintsfc website to someone who is unaware of place names, other than Southampton? :cheesy:<confused><confused>

It's not uncommon. It's apparently to do with trying to get people to use trains for shorter journeys so prices are lower.

Always worth a check if you're going to take a train whether to buy tickets to and from half way.

I'm thinking of asking Lemina for a lift. Should get there on time, if not before.
