I did and am now regretting it. My experience is very consistent with the reviews they have received, which I should have read first. I have only been with them a few weeks and purely signed up for fun. The first couple of weeks were fine but once you start to win, they make life very difficult to the point whereby you cannot withdraw money ie your own winnings, without sending them pdf bank statements, extra ID info etc etc. In short a barge pole job.
Must confess I thought it was a credit card or insurance until looked up just now. Don't all gambling organisation treat you with deep suspicion if you win?
They're all a bit crooked... I read recently about that young girl who won just over a million with bet365 but they are disputing it...
It's a mugs' game. Should not be allowed to sponsor football clubs, cups or advertise on TV. It's getting out of hand now and as for that aggressive talk from Ray Winstone( can he talk or act any other way?) - just don't get me started!
Now that I know, I am disappointed that one of our major sponsors is a gambling outfit. Sad thay there is so much profit in that business with its false promise of riches.
Absolutely disgraceful I once got offered two jobs working on online betting ... pleased I didn’t take them Yet again I did sell my soul to something worse marketing insurance to the masses We live in a ****e world
I was referring to your Insurance job. Gambling causes horrendous heartache to those who can't control their habit
The main problem is that behind Insurance and banking in general exactly the same thing is going on but on a mega scale
Sadly it's endemic in the way our society is structured and in particular the celebrity culture. So many magazines and TV shows targeting superficial airheads and folk who've realistically not achieved anything in life getting famous for being famous. I suppose one redeeming feature is that some of these 'famous people do get behind good causes. Afraid I can't give examples as pay scant attention to that sphere. Never watched any of Big Brother etc.
The pokies are a big problem here Lots of women and poor people spend all day chasing jackpots Don't play em myself as they have too many buttons Me and a mate chased the jackpot twice Has to be won before a grand and it was about 996 dollar's we won both times cost us 60 each for a grand each Never played em since although the bar I drink in pays out about 15000 a day Lots of people spending the rent money on them If it wasn't for the fact it keeps lots of pubs and clubs open they should be banned
Pokies are fine if you go to a club, have a meal and when you are walking out, stop to slip a couple of coins in the machine on the way out. If you win, it’s a bonus for the night. If you don’t, you’ve made a small donation to the club in lieu of your meal. Like all forms of gambling, those who feed their addictions on a regular basis will never be ahead. It’s only the lucky ‘once in a blue mooners’ who walk away with the cash, come out ahead.
