Why is everyone saying the Nations League is complicated? It's really not. 4 divisions, 4 groups in each division. Group winners got promoted, finish bottom you get relegated. The 4 group winners for each division play off for a play in the Euros if they don't get through the main qualifying. If you're already qualified, your play-off place goes to next placed team. Doesn't seem particularly complicated to me.
I just like the fact that it means one of the teams from Division 4, which includes the likes of Andorra, San Marino, Malta, Khazakstan and the Faroe Islands will qualify for the Euros. Though I suspect the play-offs will be between Macedonia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Georgia
Barcelona, Girona and La Liga have asked the Spanish Football Federation for permission for the two Catalan clubs to relocate a match to the US. ___________________- Hopefully Girona are battling a full on relegation scrap, and the match descends into a mass brawl. Now that would be funny.
Steve has stated that he's retiring from club football to concentrate on Internationals but if Saints draw Israel he may consider coming out of retirement
