The gloves are off on ITTApologist. Mr van Gerwen has now outed Nigella, Ivor has moved in quickly to say that Bazz13 is not Nigella. Bazz13 is obviously Nigella as Ivor would just ignore the exchange. An interesting day lies ahead.
Sometimes Bazz seems very Nigelish, sometimes different. Old Reamsy has denied it, would he be able to tell from where he sits?
You can't ignore the similarities, that's true, but I just wondered how Old Reamsy could be so sure that they were different posters. Is he guessing or can he, as moderator, know?
The attack on Webbo from a supposedly new member was a bit of a give away. To be honest, I really don't know if it's Nigel again, and there has been less of the verbal assaults that major used to indulge in. But he may be trying to keep his nose clean in order to make Royston look aggressive. i don't bet. But if I did, I'd put a fiver on baz being a return of Major.
Thass juss what I think n all. The odd football post just to throw others off the scent. But being a technophobe myself could a moderator answer my question about whether a moderator can identify the source of a post. Just wondering why Old Reamsy is so sure.
All you can tell is the IP address, if he uses a different Internet Service provider the IP address would change
So, is there reasonable doubt? The jury needs more proof. ATM it's the old Scottish verdict of Not Proven.
@brb uses IP addresses, there is a Mod facility to see if somebody is using the same IP address for more than one user name.... it is designed to spot (and delete) spam posters
Bazz gets the benefit of the doubt from me then. If Nigel has used a cunning plan to fool O.R. he will give himself away in due course.
The forum administrator could be 99.9% sure who is who, or if somebody has adopted a new identity. A clever person could hide their past identity I think, but on a football fans' forum I doubt that happens very often. I'm quite willing to believe that Bazz13 is Major, but I was never convinced that Major was IA. Bazz/Major and IA have quite different styles.
