I never knew about it but generally i don't follow what's going on with the International scene, except for the World Cup and Euro's. From what i read today the idea is to replace friendlies and make games more competitive, although can't see the Premier League clubs being happy about more 'competitive' international games.
I meant from a competitive edge, rather than a so called friendly. Prem clubs will be accessing the higher risk of injuries to players.
yep, after all conquering World Cup performance - England are placed in a pool with Spain & Croatia But ref bottled it, just like Kane said & did. Bottle jobs.. Gay was poor and Welbeck's goal should stand.
They were all poor. Only woke up in the last 20. England’s non existent midfield was overrun for the majority of the game.
I didn't see the game but we're always gonna have that issue as the midfield is bang average. How did Gomez play?
Average. Isco, Alcantara, and Niguez just ran rings around Henderson and what else that passes for England’s midfield. We have nobody that can dominate the midfield and control the play.
This format replaces the qualifications for Euro’s doesn’t it, or only the winners of the groups ? Also the venue for the final hasn’t yet been announced, why is that
