Never used to mind Jamie Oliver but since he’s been on his “Sugar Power Trip” he’s become an annoying lispy cock!
Attention Curry fans. Meera Sodha's Made in India (I think) cook book is excellent for curry fans. Not overly complex, don't always say use gee, and if you have a decent spice cupboard, most of the recipes are in reach.
Never eat normal butter, not really a fan. And crunchy is a no go, smooth all the way. Same with juice, anyone who has juice with bits in has something wrong with them
Has the texture that makes me feel like I'm drinking someones puke. I'll skip the goodness and just enjoy the sugar from smooth juice. I am very weird when it comes to food/drink though so my opinions may not be very representative of anybody but myself
Drinks should never have bits in it....smooth juice every time. Make an exception for real fresh OJ because the flavour compensates for any stray lumps.
Must confess, when I google a recipe and his version comes up, it's often the one I try. They're usually easy to follow and execute, and give good results. Keith Floyd was the man though, nobody threatened his crown. Slurp...
Next time you're in London, I recommend you take a trip to Piccadilly and visit Fortnum and Masons, who have a whole room dedicated to teas from around the world. I'm a big fan of both their Breakfast Blend and Earl Grey, but my latest discovery is a blend of Chinese teas called Russian Caravan (apparently the Tsars used to have it delivered to Moscow by caravan).
I love her food, but she makes me cringe when she makes love to the camera as she speaks. Leave it out love, just cook.
My friend's son was his cameraman when he went on those jaunts and he said he was half pissed most of the time.
