10 points on the 10/1 shot and 7 points on the 12/1 shot. If one wins you make 73 points. Equates to 4.3/1. Doesn't look good value to me
You're ok FP .... I did neither in the end, settling on Sabador instead At Kempers, surely this is a penalty kick for Enable. At Haydock, I like Natural History and Regal Reality. Back at Ascot in the 3-55 I have plumped for Royal Berkshire. I did fancy Fannie By Gaslight, but we are all electric here
Sheikha Reika in a handicap off 88 Point and shoot. This filly is the only one who can make me break my never back Atzeni rule.
Ripp Orf and Spanish City both owe me money so I am giving it a miss. I guess that makes it a banker forecast. There are a couple at Haydock escaping the weight of my cash too...
What a shame they never entered Librisa Breeze in the Sprint Cup – six furlongs, soft ground; would have been perfect with only the favourite better rated. Just four in the September Stakes and all eyes will be on just two of them. Something must be amiss with Weekender as he is not picking up third prize money. So Crystal Ocean and Enable ought to be the day’s banker reverse forecast, but it is difficult to say which way round without seeing the filly. The other pattern race on the card only features five but at least it looks more of a contest with four of them closely matched on the ratings. The prevailing soft ground at Haydock (when is it not soft there at this time of the year?) makes that card a no-bet. So it looks like Ascot for a betting opportunity... Two Frankel colts in the 3:55 and victory is bound to go to the one that I desert. Midi is a son of Midday and makes his handicap debut whilst FIRST ELEVEN was pitched into a Group race last time (which was clearly a step too far) and now he is back in a handicap off a 6lb higher mark than when third at Royal Ascot. I am not sure that the step down in trip for Ghostwatch will be in his favour today. In the following sprint at 4:30, I think that REBEL STREAK is capable of completing the hat-trick as he won readily enough at Newmarket last time to suggest that he can defy the 7lb rise in the weights. Shergar Cup Sprint winner Green Power and Fille De Reve look the biggest dangers.
It would be bad for racing, but the way ITV are building this as the Enable v. Crystal Ocean race, I would LOVE it if one of the rags were to win
Enable looks like a tightly coiled spring ready to explode. Hope she doesn't boil over but certainly looks ready to do the job. Lovely to see her jogging on her toes in the paddock
A fully fit Enable wipes the foor with Crystal Ocean - yes it is great race but is it really the match up ITV are making it. A half fit Enable vs Crystal Ocean
Yep - best priced 2-1 ............. load your wheelbarrows! Ok .. come on Regal Reality you didn't know you were a mud-lover did you?
