We've been on a constant cycle of clearing out the deadwood and replacing it with numbers rather than quality, which leads to clearing out the deadwood, which left us short so we had to replace with numbers.
Most years looking at the team we have and how we've improved I think everyone would put us as favourites, but unfortunately city have spent just as much as us for longer and spent well. They have assembled a very good side that's not going to be overcome because another team has spent well. City are the main reason nobody is getting carried away
