I'd arranged to pick them up on the day and when I asked at the tix office the lass just asked Who Are You?
I heard the line from a good source that anyone enquiring about purchasing the club, has to first shell out £6m to make that enquiry. Not sure if this has been reported previously, or if its true. But it wouldn't surprise me.. I assume its a check to ensure that the prospective buyer has the financial conkers. I would also assume they would get their money back if the enquiry came to nothing. I'd certainly want my cash back!
For any deal this size a buyer will be asking to prove that they have the funds, that could be what's happening and Chinese whispering has got to this. Then again it's the Allams.......
You think I'm making this up? Had a fiasco trying to get tix for the REM concert Was told at the tix office there would be an announcement on radio about it. Just then who should walk through but former City favourite Ken Houghton smirking so I asked What's the Frequency Kenneth? in the hope he would let on.
Load of smoke and mirrors. Everyone pretending to know stuff but no rumour has been said. More rubbish I expect.
I think you are letting your hatred of all things Hull get in the way of reality. Poverty is an issue. You may choose to ignore it but many don't have that choice.
A bloke on facebook reckons that the deal is 76.83% done and in effect the club will have new owners coming in very soon. Expect increased traffic on social media tomorrow. Pearson not involved "at this stage"
