I dont understand how chicken could be a favourite meat but each to their own. Its bland tasteless meat and injected with water. You have to add sauces to make it interesting.
Its disgusting isn't it! If I buy it from Tesco's I only get it from their Finest range. But local butcher's is usually still the best for flavour.
I dont either, I really dont. I like chicken, I eat it, but I would choose pretty much all of the other staple meats before it, given the choice. And yes, a chicken is nice when roasted properly etc, just that all the other meats are nicer when they are cooked properly. I go back to the chocolate bar thread whereby a lot of people proclaimed the Wispa to be their favourite chocolate bar, like "WTF? Seriously?!" I will eat one, but I can name a dozen chocolate bars I would pick over a Wispa.
It's all down to taste and opinions though Bod. I completely fail to understand why anyone would put lamb above chicken , I think lamb is **** personally. Wispas are class btw, not my favourite chocolate though.
Its universally accepted by almost everyone that chicken tastes of nothing. Even herbed up to high heaven and cooked properly it still pales in comparison to every other meat imo. I know preferences are subjective but even still, its like saying you would **** Rosie O'Donnell over Ariana Grande.....to each their own and all that, but just...No....
Then its the fat with the flavour not the meat itself. I do get what you mean about cooking it in fat though. Its like how we do roast potatoes in our house. Has to be in goose fat. Nothing else will do.
Like I will trust those ****s when it comes to food. They eat snails ffs and their cheeses are rank. I hate France with a passion, ****test country I have been to. Germany and Holland are much better. Better food, better beer, better locals, better hookers.
