It doesn’t matter how slowly you write it. The records will show our best performance in terms of league position and FA Cup final being recorded under the Allams ownership. I don’t dispute this but as you know I would put most of this down to Steve Bruce who I believe is a very good manager. Now pay attention Chazz, do you honestly want to say that the Allams ownership has been a success. If so please do.
"When I use a word," Allempty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone. "It means just what I choose it to mean - neither more or less." "The question is," said Alice Beercock, "whether you can make words mean so many different things." "The question is," said Allempty Dumpty, "which is to be master - that's all." Could be anytime, really. The HDM say in the space of 2 paragraphs that the club have been for sale for over 5 years and that the club were put up for sale in April 2014.
Fickleness doesn't come in to it. Thousands of fans chose not to go. There was and is an issue with the owners of the club. Maybe it passed you by.
Not then there wasn't. No boycotting back then. Most just didn't want to have to pay for the semi and final.
Ah, so long as silverware outstrips league position it seems: "When someone says that they'd give up a trophy in place of pl survival, I just can't understand it."
Not sure about 'most' but not everyone was in the fortunate enough position to be able to afford the semi and the final. Given that the opposition in the semi was from the third tier I am sure quite a number chose to gamble on the likelihood of City reaching the final.
It's strange to see people mocking Ehab for measuring success on the balance sheet, but then in the same breath go to great lengths not to measure success as purely being about on field achievements.
Surely you go to the Semi Final and then reassess options IF we had made the Final.. It's not like the Final was the following week. If we'd lost the SF - which we almost did at HT - would you not hate missing that?
im done with football really i don't go to see hull city not really bothered about football anymore have more enjoyable stuff to do probably won't return regardless honestly also don't like seeing constant rich people infront of me i could go to canary wharf for that dunno footballs boring lol but i still like to see the team sheet and memes and paying £30 to see a match, proper rip off id pay max £5 to see a match
Went to both. But actually no, I wouldn't have particularly actually. And semis should no way be at Wembley. Utterly ridiculous. Ripping off / putting fans last.
