It's a Gus Van Sant film about Harvey Milk who was the first openly gay man elected to office back in the 70's he was assassinated (not a spoiler it's in the opening to the film).
amazon actually dumped all episodes of jack ryan out on prime. Or at least where i am this week they have (ze germans site) I've got up to episode 4... TBH i've waited a long time for this but right now its right into a big group of very similar shows so its taken too long to come out. its ok but i don't actually think much of the "villian" thus far. He seems piss poor TBH and if you've a piss poor villian you don't respect its hard to get into the show.
Any House of Cards fans? Can't believe they are even bothering with a final season without Spacey, the ending of the last season tied things up well and the show won't do well without Frank, I don't think I'll bother.
First two are great, third one was mostly kind of meh, hope they arrest the slide It's by Jed Mercurio who wrote Line of Duty which is also pretty good for UK stuff, can see similarities between both shows actually
I'm half way through series 2. I loved the English series and was a bit sceptical about the American version. Started watching and am hooked. I think Spacey is brilliant in it, as good as Ian Richardson in the original. The little looks and the asides to the camera are wonderfully done. I don't like the character of his wife as a lot of the **** he's had to fight has come from her either being unfaithful or going behind his back... He should have binned her. Worth watching...
She gets better as it goes on. worth watching up to the last season but it's a great ending and I think they should have left it there. To start the new season saying Frank is just dead now is silly as ****.
My tactic has been to binge the two halves. So I've seen the first half of 4, just waiting for the 2nd half to finish then I'll watch the rest. Its a bit different from the previous series and Morgan has switched shows, so the time period in relation to TWD is confusing.
Nope, opens up with the end of the last Series of TWD. Morgan alone in the junkyard post Negan. So either FTWD is going skipping fast over a similar (longer) time period or TWD is really slow over a shorter time
The promotion for season four was annoying; they ended season three not knowing who was alive or dead, then they show most of the characters in the promo stuff #dicks
You should try watching the Dynasty reruns. Characters being replaced by new actors all over the place. There was a new Steven and a new Fallon, who did about six episodes, then disappeared. There's a new Amanda, who showed up a few episodes ago, when it seems like the whole thing is rocketing towards a final conclusion, so I don't know why they bothered, and now they've brought back Fallon and Jeff (the same Jeff) from wherever they disappeared to, which I think was California, where they were living with the entire new family of Colbys, starring the likes of Barbara Stanwyck and Charlton Heston, who they brought in for a few episodes then wrote out again. They just didn't give a ****. At least in Charmed they didn't replace Pru with a new Pru, they brought in the missing sister, Paige. They could've actually had Kaley Cuoco's Billie and her sister take over the three Charmed sisters and just found another missing sister of theirs to keep the power of three. That would've extended the life of the show by a few years and eliminated that whole Alyssa Milano/Rose McGowan personality clash. Still, watching a new actor take Spacey's place is possibly like listening to somebody play Gary Glitter songs. There's just too much signal to noise ratio.
