I love it, but I also love the yeast extract made by Meridian, which tastes just as good.

Bugger. I have both peanut butter and marmite in the cupboard, but completely out of bread.

Muesli then. Wish I hadn't clicked this thread before breakfast

Rarely have breakfast unless I am travelling and may find eating inconvenient. Left to my own devices I am never hungry till mid-afternoon, so even lunch is eaten out of habit. I'm off soon on a river cruise...will have to force myself to eat their lovely food. On my last holiday I struggled to eat a light breakfast and then had to sit and wait for my companion to pack it away....where she put it I have no idea. Then I missed lunch because she was full up and didn't want any, so I came back lighter than I went...whereas she had put on weight.<devil>

I never have breakfast, and only lunch if i am bored or on a day out. I find my body only tells me it is hungry at about 7pm :)

The latest research shows that our gut bacteria decide when we are hungry and what to eat....so if you eat a diet high in sugar the bacteria in your gut become mainly bacteria that love sugar and they need feeding*....you must have some very greedy little chaps in there. :)

*So you can change the little buggers with a change in diet...does suggest that my mother was telling the truth when she told me to give up sugar in tea and coffee...she said it only takes a week and you won't want it any more...and she was right.

Once a year i do a Marmite tasting class at our English school in Serbia (with kids that have never tasted it). A fun day all round! About 50/50. Marmite on toast is my go to meal when there is nothing in the fridge.

MIsaints / Saintalona - you gotta try it!

Hmm, three of most negative Saints posters on here (Godders, SS and Magic) all hate it, wonder if there is any connection it that?. I also wonder if Schad can get it in Canada?...
