It was part of their case to the american people about why they should invade Iraq, apart from the WMDs, they where harbouring al qaeda, and they also said that 9/11 hijackers met with Iraqi intelligence before 9/11, which all turned out to be complete lies.

I dont know, but it cant be that hard to blow a building up, if it was a demo job, then the explosives would obly have to done up to where the plane crashes, if its an inside job then they know what floors the plane is going hit. In a controlled demolition I am pretty sure the explosives would be situated near the foundations of the building. Perhaps a demolition expert could clarify if I am right or wrong.
