I can see us scraping a win against Arsenal, then drawing Southampton and Brighton and waiting a while for another win.
Problem is, the Palace fans will be thinking the same thing! I think they largely dominated against Southampton, just couldn't score without Zaha. I think Southampton have the poorest squad looking over the next run of games, so hoping we could beat them.
I think we will beat Arsenal. I think Benitez will drop the all out defend mentality and try to actually win. I think the fans will be up for it.
I think we'll get a point out of Arsenal and then beat Palace tbh. Leicester look like a decent team again all of a sudden and Man U are starting to get into the swing of things. Think the Arsenal will be a bit of a scrappy 1-1/2-2 game with a few players back from injury like Shelvey and Ritchie getting back in to the swing of things after the international break. Luckily Palace haven't got the attacking options of the teams in the league we've lost to so far and I don't know if anyone saw Benteke's misses highlight reel from the weekend just gone but they look like they are going to rely heavily on goals from midfield this term which i think we can deal with. Arsenal D 2-2 (Rondon, Kenedy) Palace W 3-1 (Rondon, Perez, Lacselles) Leicester D 1-1 (Perez) Man U L 2-0
Gone for Arsenal followed by all the others. Start of an unbeaten run stretching through to end of October. We always knew this would be a hard start. We had a number of lengthy spells of losses last season so not particularly perturbed by this one.
We won't beat Arsenal. The reason being is that regardless of how defensive we play they will still score at least 3 goals. \i predict we will score 1.
Not sure Arsenal are better going forward than either City or Chelsea, so I reckon we have a slight chance of a draw in this one.
For all the opinion on Rafa one thing I can guarantee is we will never be destroyed by anyone on his watch.
