"The football club only discovered he had paperwork when he attended his office to assist with other matters – his wife has just had a baby in the last 10 days." The poor Saints admin guy who found that..."hey what's this Mari...uh oh"
Idiots driving cars are dangerous, normal people I find are okay. Pretty much like anything else.....including our American friends guns habit.

Mustn't get too carried away, but if we keep him fit, he'll turn this season from struggle to success.
Not defending what he has done but I can see a reason why his performances are up and down, not speaking/understanding the language, (especially the written language), getting in to trouble with the law and becoming a father for the first time all in a space of a couple of months, his mind had to have been all over the place. Let's see if he settles down, one thing is, he will not have to worry about driving for awhile.
It is easy to forget that these guys are humans, like some of us. There is also the additional fact that despite all the money and the apparent lesser working hours, footballers are at the beck and call of the club and strict regimes. Imagine your wife is pregnant in a foreign country and you are away she is feeling poorly or you can’t tell the boss you’ll be in an hour late it will stay an hour later. It could well have contributed. My heart doesn’t bleed because they are still being paid to do what most of us have dreamed of doing, but they aren’t robots.
