Thursday night sees Wales take on Ireland at Legoland in the newly formed Nations League.

What the **** is that I hear you say? Basically its a way of getting rid of meaningless friendlies and replacing them with some competitive football. It may seem a load of crap to some, but it provides a route to Euro 2020 if we are successful <ok>

The last time we played Ireland at Legoland we lost 0-1 in the 2018 Russia World Cup Qualifying match, so its a chance to put things right. Wales have a host of quality youngsters coming through. We may do well....

Still not sure the point of this, Surely it would serve more purpose to pick your opposition if you are starting to warm up for qualifiers, in selecting a side that plays a similar way to the team you will play, rather than be thrown together in a totally pointless tournament. seems we will be playing Denmarks 3rd and 4th tier players plus their futsol players when we play them, now if that isn't pointless. Far to many international games being played in the modern game, still I suppose the countries FA's have to try and make some money from somewhere.

still we have to play in it so good luck Wales.

Your point about choosing your opponents is a good one, I'm not sure how many friendly window opportunities remain open to do that. The competition may seem pointless, but you can qualify for EURO 2020 through it, so I suppose its like winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League.

As for Denmark, they will be fielding their strongest possible team on the day. Its not our fault that they have internal wranglings over image rights. There's still three points up for grabs so we've got to make sure we put them away <ok>

This is a good idea because you are actually playing for something instead of pointless friendlies where we in wales seem to lose our best players as their clubs won't let them play...It will be very difficult now for clubs to stop players playing for their country as it is an official tournament.......
