Seemingly unaware of what she was saying, Margaret Hodge has said that if Jeremy Corbyn steps down as Labour leader then the accusations of antisemitism will go away

Does she have any consideration for those poor, unfortunate hacks who will have to try and spin this into an anti-Corbyn Narrative?

Why would you basically admit that it's bullshit? What a moron.

It appears that she thinks that, because disciplinary procedures were dropped against her last month, she's free to say and do whatever she likes until the end of time. That's why she's in today's Grauniad saying that, actually, she did accuse Corbyn of being a racist and antisemite - something she publicly denied at the time - just like she's appearing to the Jewish Labour Movement and saying that if adopting the Thou Shalt Not Criticise Israel definition of antisemitism "is not enough."

Never has the phrase "the Barking MP" seemed so justified...

Sajid Javid has issued an ultimatum to social media companies stating they need to review all images of child pornography before they are uploaded to their servers.

Or, to put it another way...

Sajid Javid has instructed social media companies to fall in line with the system used by that well-known documentary Minority Report by hiring a bunch of psychics to predict crimes, therefore allowing the authorities to intervene long before the crime actually happens

I hope Woodward didn't expect the depiction of Trump as a childish liability who needs day-to-day handling to be an earth-shattering revelation, as most people capable of deductive reasoning came to that conclusion years ago.

Then again, there's the unhinged stuff such as this...

Is that really in the book? I thought that nothing could surprise me with the orange liability anymore, but...

  10. That and more..... <yikes>
The telephone conversation between Woodward and Dumpf is also worth a listen. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Yeah, I listened to it yesterday.
Kelly-Anne Conway's part was accidentally revealing. She clearly didn't want Woodward to talk to him, understandably.
The man doesn't know what he's talking about and he's can't keep track of his own lies. Completely unstable.

  12. Politics aside, it's abundantly clear to anyone that the guy is mentally unhinged, he is a raging sociopath with racist, mysoginistic tendencies.

How can any civilised community possibly ever countenance him as a head of state?

OK - his narrative hit a nerve that brought him into the WH, but surely, SURELY, the populus should be united in bringing about his rapid departure.

That he is still being held up by the Republican Party as a whole is an horrendous indictment of the US Right - as they don't realise (or care) that a short term survival in the mid-Terms won't compensate for the destruction of the Party and the Global turmoil that will almost certainly result if the village idiot stays in power a day longer.

    Feckin' buffoons! <doh>

    Rant over.......

A lot of them don't know.
They watch Fox News, read Breitbart and listen to Newt Gingrich and the like on the radio.
They don't get to witness his ludicrous bullshit.

  14. Middle America, yes - but I was talking more about the GOP 'great and good' - those with an IQ in treble figures and a passport. They can engineer his exit by working with the Democrats to get him impeached and maybe prosecuted. They will have enough evidence FFS!!

The morass of walking, mumbling Neanderthals that inhabit the central wilderness are another matter all together. Nothing he does will ever convince them otherwise. They even managed to learn to write a X on a ballot paper to vote for him!! <laugh>

You're assuming that there are any GOP great and good. Anyone that fits either of those descriptions has left.

Mind you, I was almost warming George W. the other day, listening to his eulogy of McCain. Never thought the day would come when I felt nostalgic for his time as POTUS! <yikes>

He was a ****bag surrounded by even worse ****bags, but there's now an even bigger ****bag in his old position.
If you want a weird look back on him, then try looking up his pre-Presidential speeches online. It's like a different person.
Don't get me wrong, he still had terrible political positions, but he could actually articulate them. Bizarre.

I tell you what, I've been shocked by how likeable I have found him since leaving office. His double act with Clinton is great fun. Without having to pretend he understands stuff he clearly didn't, he seems a decent guy. I need a stiff drink after admitting that.

Interesting video. How many times do you think that Trump's called Obama for his expertise and insights?
