It wasn't a good performance but I still think most of you are missing the point of the way Poch sets us up to play. We aim to create about twice as many chances as the opposition on average and score a slightly higher proportion so we should win about 2.25-0.75 on average. But goals are rare events so exactly when they are scored is down to luck as well as skill. If you look at the probabilities then a team that scores 85 goals a season and concedes 28 will have a very good chance of winning the league but will lose the odd match. That is all that happened yesterday. Yes, look at each performance whatever the result for things that can be improved but don't let the odd loss push you off course.

One thing that has to be asked is why is Davies so poor for us at the moment? While an excuse could be made for him being a better full back than wing back for yesterday's game, he was just as poor in a back four against Newcastle.

How about giving Watford some credit. Good game plan, closed us down so quickly no one had enough time on the ball to make anything happen. They kept their shape and did what they do well very well. They man marked rather than the ponsey zonal marking sh!te. A good plan, well executed I would say. Keep that up they are unlikely to win the league but might finish top 6.

Jermaine Jenas' column on the BBC Website, he says that he can't remember Spurs playing badly and winning. It's just complete bollocks. Last season alone there was...

    Leicester (H) 5-4
Newcastle (H) 1-0 - We were sooooo bad.
    Watford (H) -2-0
    Stoke (A) 1-2
    Palace (A) 0-1
    Brighton (H) 2-0
    Palace (H) 1-0
    Bournemeouth (H) 1-0

This season, we weren't great up at Newcastle and had spells in the other 2 games that weren't great. This article is just a joke. Spurs had long spells last season where they didn't play that well or played poorly, but still came third by winning 2 more games than all-conquering Liverpool, who came fourth. <laugh>

Barnsley in the League Cup was so poor that most people can't even remember it. Rubbish.
APOEL in the Champions League was utter ****e and we won 3-0.

How can you forget... that... one... thing. Was it a goal? Something happened. I think.

We didn't create anything yesterday, though. Bad day at the office and all that, but I'd like to avoid any similar performances.

I went Club Wembley for the Wimbledon game and the seats were nice. It was probably that.

Smithy, I don't think he left. He just went to sit somewhere quieter.

It's taken my daughter 5 years to get used to how loud I am at Spurs. I go to punk rock gigs and when the whole audience is cheering, people turn round to look at the 'the loud bloke'.

Of course, now the hacks are trotting out the "Harry Kane has been found out" Narrative after the game

Funny how nobody was trotting that one out last Monday...
