4 titles say he's better than Mark Webber ;)

Seriously though he has thrown the title away several times over this season

They sail by imo cos teams are conserving everything from fuel to tyres to engines and just let them by to avoid losing any time to guy behind or ahead in their own little race

So Grosjean has been disqualified after Renault lodged an appeal about the legality of the Haas floor.

So sirotkin gets his first point.

Quite right, BLS. Causing another driver to lock up in the pit lane certainly warrants a penalty.

Unfortunately, I have to say I think there were several moments where Vettel was being 'preserved' by authority – for whatever reason…

I'll be honest with you. I am starting to doubt Vettels' ability on the whole. 30 point defecit in a car that should be leading...

Compare that to late 90s' Michael for instance, he only needed a rickshaw with a half decent engine in it to win.

I have no respect for RBR and the way Ricciardo is being treated.

And Alonso nearly winning the title in a Ferrari that had no right to be leading. I think a few other drivers would have performed better than Vettel this season given the chance.

I think Alonso would struggle to beat Lewis as he is not as quick and with these Hybrids it is hard to follow making pole key and I think Lewis in similar or identical equipment would have the advantage.

Well that has worked before but with Hertfordshire boy suffering more MGU-H problems than any other propelled Mercedes engine car. We saw a driver have more wins and more poles than his teammate but still lost.

All joking aside Rosberg would probably be doing better in that Ferrari. More consistent anyway

This talk of Vettel, I think it is a case that he is rattled by Lewis. Lewis would never have been rattled in the same way.

Vettel displays the behaviour of a man panicking because he knows he should be winning the championship. Was it a swing of 38 points when he slid off in the wet? Wins, I think it is 5 Vettel, 6 Lewis when without silly mistakes by Vettel it should be 7 Vettel and 4 Lewis.

Vettel said 30 points sounds a lot but is easily made up, brave face. He has never been more than 17 points ahead of Lewis this year, that was after the first two races. Vettel can not afford a DNF and he needs Lewis to have a DNF.

Kimi is going to have to be wingman for the rest of the season, will he agree I wonder?

Lewis, Fantastic race by him, in years to come that race will be remembered. Bottas, loyal man and a good drive too.

Pleased to see Williams getting off the back row.

In race pace the Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari are the same pace, bbc and Sky make it sound like Hamilton has a Honda engine the back of his car lol.

The worrying part for Ferrari now is that Hamilton has already had a DNF this season, it's not like he's had zero bad luck. He could be another 15 or 20 points down the road.

Singapore will be the test, Mercedes have been poor there in recent history. It's a test Vettel failed spectacularly last year!
