My wife took my new car down to the local handwash on the A1.

They wanted an extra £2 because its a 4x4.

No one warned me about that :emoticon-0121-angry
Well deserved, any clown that buys a 4x4 (and usually drives it at 5mph over speed bumps because they don't want to damage it) in this country should pay more for everything.

But I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere, aka Bedfordshire.

Why wouldn't I get a 4x4?

Yeah it's lovely. Very rarely do I fall for something like this but it's pretty special tbh.

My Mrs will be the main driver though as my little UP suits my job better. It'll be the family car though so whenever I'm not at work it'll be used.

The grill on it is beast. Love the 19" wheels too.

Seriously impressive car tbh

Think it was designed by the same bloke who designed the jag f pace.

The reversing camera on them is pretty cool, also like the HUD. I seriously considered getting one. Just wish they’d make one with a big engine. Out of all the suv’s On the market it’s definitely right up there with the best in terms of looks and spec.

We've looked at loads recently. At first we were gonna just get something like a quashqai but the boot size is so small, our golf has a bigger boot ffs.

When we saw the CX5 yesterday we were so impressed. It's far quicker than the rest we took out to. Looks like a beast of a car too, looks great. I love all the gimmicks anyway and this thing is full of them.

Can't wait till September now!!

Them Mazdas are styled well tbf, they look loads better than them ****ing Nissan Juke and Hyundai Tucsons that litter the roads, there's a Toyota one as well that looks repulsive.

I bought my Mrs the Merc GLA earlier this year. She loves it and the boot is about the size of The MEN Arena so she's happy she can pack it full of all her crap.

I’m very much not a car guy but fancy a trade up of some sort if anyone can recommend something.

Have had an i30 since I graduated which has been a great little runaround but I don’t do a lot of motorway driving now so it’s mostly just for a short commute and the odd trip around the M25 or to away games.

No fixed budget but would rather get something a few years old for a significant discount. Thinking something relatively sporty but not too showy like a Z4. They seem to be dirt cheap after 2-3 years.

Traded my wife's Fiesta for an Ecosport as she wanted something slightly higher to get her parents in. My misses only does about 4000 miles a year, so she's only ever had small cars. Decided to drive it to Cornwall a couple of weeks ago and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed. I bought the titanium model which has an impressive array of goodies, but I'm more impressed with the 3 cylinder engine.

I'm still driving an 06 plate Touareg. It's a lovely car, but I need a van for my business. Been looking at VW T5 shuttle/Kombi, but **** me they command some strong money.

Bought a Ford connect van last year for £500. Brilliant having something I don't give a **** about. My misses reckons I like it more than her <laugh>

I'd have one of those if it was just for business. But I need a work, family, surf, dog wagon. So need something a bit bigger. Like to get something that we can sleep in too, so that we can go off an do a bit of wild camping. <ok>

Been out today looking at motors as my mate wants a new one.

He's got his eyes on a Passat estate or a ford kuga.

So i might inherit his Toyota avensis estate, if he goes ahead.

Pretty ideal for you @PISKIE

I was looking at a small car just for whizzing around locally and tried a new Fiesta ST line 140 cv. Nice car, I was very impressed, goes like a supercharged go kart.

Might buy it....€15000 or so with all the discounts.

Somebody offered me a nice 08 plate BMW 525 Touring for my Touareg, but I need something a bigger tbh. Looking for a VW Transporter van, but they are stupid money.

If I sell lots of vegan hippy **** I might be able to save a few grand and then PX my Touareg against one.
