Alisson A) he's got a really great beard. Best since alonso at the very least B) he's a brick ****house. C) he's Brazilian so people goo themselves. D) he really can pass it long and short. And I mean pass it. E) he cost 65mil. F) he's as cool as cool could possibly be.
Alisson was caught on tape getting home after the match Big al " Hello, Mother." Mandy: "Don't you "hello mother" me! What're all those people doing out there? C'mon, what've you been up to, my lad?" Big al: "I think they must've popped by, or something." Mandy: Popped by? Swarmed by, more like! There's a multitude out there! Al shouts out the window "Alright, I AM the messiah! Now, **** OFF!"
Of course he's better than our previous keepers, but that's despite his pissing about and not because of it. He can make himself even better by understanding when the straightforward option is the best one. There was no excuse for what he did yesterday.
Last season he played the same way and made 0 errors. So 1 error in over 12 months and you think he still has to prove his worth?
As much i tried, i didnt catch a great deal of roma games last year. On top of that, yes i expect a 70million pound keeper not to get caught doing a ****ing turn in his own box like a 12 year old kid AFTER getting caught doing the exact same thing in the last game. It will takde a lot to show hes worth that amount of money, at the minute all he is being judged on is, yay hes better than karius and cost a **** load, he must be great.
It's wouldn't be us if we didnt scream STONE HIM at the first error btw you can see me here in white reading all the reasons why he's ****.
first one we obly got to lob a couple stones. this ones a full on, hand rubbing, gleeful stoning of the silly bugger.
I'm fully behind the guy, I just would like to see the fans admit that it was a ****-up instead of making excuses for it, and for Alisson to learn from it so we can have a keeper our defence can trust.
When Karius and Mignolet made mistakes it would really get to them and they would look so dodgy the rest of the game and games going forward. Alisson ****ed up, not by being sh!t, but an idiot. He seemed to just get on with it and kick it clear every time after.
He's conceded 7 times fewer goals than De Gea and kept 3 times as many cleans sheets while making 43% more saves, and people reckon he's the best in the PL
A few mins after the **** up, he played a risky pass out to the left (bypassing a couple of Leicester players). It shows his self confidence which is encouraging to see. However, as others pointed out, he needs to play with a bit more urgency when he receives the ball.
It is what it is mate - he won’t ever receive criticism from the media / pundits because he’s a poster boy and club captain. He shirks responsibility and plays others into trouble. They then make mistakes and the attention is on them instead. Give him time and space, he’s fine. But put him under an ounce of pressure and he bricks it. It’s no coincidence that we were fine once he went off and we brought on two players who are press resistant.
