From what I posted yesterday from Alisson's interview, they all discussed it in the dressing room after. Large part of the blame was put on the pass and the rest on Alisson fu<king about, which he has apologised for and said he won't repeat.
I’m not worried about it. After a week of blowing smoke up both vvd’s And Alissons respective arses, they both had poor moments in this game. Rather now and a win than against top opposition and we lose badly. Should focus the mind a little bit from here on in.
Alisson angy with himself for mistake http://www.skysports.com/football/n...angry-at-himself-for-costly-liverpool-mistake
It could be dressing room banter continued in public domain. Not everything we don't necessarily like is a bad thing
first 9ne to gomez he never even looks what was around our cb. He never wanted it and was just playing it straight back no matter what. then lifted at vvd. vvd was lax... sure. but alisson was ridiculous.
Im not sure why they are trying to spead the blame it was alissons **** up, plain and simple. The ball from vvd was slightly wide, but is was still easily clearable, the only issue was him trying to do a ****ty turn and being caught out by a player who had seen the previous match and new exactly what was coming. An additional note on Henderson, im not sure he is able to turn more than 90 degrees with the ball at his feet, maybe hes got a really stiff neck or something, but he is unable to change direction. When we are dominating teams its ok as he can sweep up loose balls and play it slightly forward again, but under pressure we could stck a wall in his place and just let the cbs bounce the ball off it to each other.
All true. It is rather funny watching what goes on at times. Henderson certainly doesn't play with his back to goal. Hes ok when facing goal etc
Again, I’m going to stick up for Allison here. Yeah he ****ed up and it wasn’t that much of a surprise after Brighton. But isn’t it good to see a goal gifted by an overly confident gifted keeper rather than by a keeper giving it away through simple mistakes when he’s trying his hardest? I never had this faith in our previous keepers.
Not really cos Brighton had two or three scares that should have woken him up. It seems he's needed at least one one howler to realise he can't be doing that ****. Let's see what he does next. Just play with the game in front of you and be aware of what's around you, don't get caught back to play and for **** sake take it away from your goal if you've got to get i to something when Henderson plays a stupid back pass. That goes for all players. Getting turned the wrong way can only ever end badly.
I do wonder where this confidence in Alison stems from. He was a fairly unknown quantity when we signed him, he's made a number of routine saves and 3 matches in has been caught twice acting the prick. Now I do believe he may come good and I hope he proves his worth. But so far he's not done anytgany that shows he the new Messiah.
