I wish they would. I can't see Vettel winning unless he has a car that's utterly dominant. He is nothing on Lewis. I'm ready to see the new blood come through now. This era is settled.
I wish they would as well . I was just going to Edit my post . Sirotkin has £££ , but I like to think he will develop , if he does not , he is 100% Better in interviews than Daddy's boy ( IMHO ) .
Until Red Bull stop making excuses for Verstappen, he's going to continue driving and acting like dick. Somebody needs to have a word with him. There's a great driver in there somewhere
Good job this was the Italian GP though, miraculous that Vettel escaped a penalty for an unsafe release. Not at all his fault obviously but normally a nailed on penalty, so colluded was it that they didn't even show a replay of it. I assumed Sky were talking BS when they mentioned it, but I've seen fan footage now and it was a full on release right into the locking up Sauber.
Vettel has absolutely thrown away a title. I cant believe Ferrari won't be questioning their faith in him after today. I'd beg Fernando to come back. Quite a lot of debate over the years over how to rank this generations "Big 3", the biggest doubt I have is whether Seb deserves third place over the likes of Rosberg, Ricciardo and Button.
Great race, the GP3 race was exceptional as well. I think DRS was in the sweet spot for giving the car behind an advantage to allow them to follow close, but not so much overtaking was guaranteed. Kimi drove a great race, Hamilton drove a great race, and Vettel pulled off some great moves after spinning out. The only annoyance for me, is something that has annoyed me more over the last two seasons than any other... When a Ferrari, Red Bull or Mercedes drops down the order, they get passes for free by: A) Red Bull's second team Torro Rosso B) Teams supplied by Mercedes/Ferraris for engines (Force India, Haas, Williams) C) Drivers who want seats at a top team D) Teams who think there is no point holding a faster car behind Overtakes by politics has always been a part of F1 to some degree, it just seems ridiculous now.
Would Sauber have had to complain about it for Charlie to look at it............? Not sure that would have happened!
Well watched by the safety people at the FIA , of course there are pictures , but I would think all the action is being looked at ! Unless ASC is right and it was up to Sauber to appeal it . Ted Kravitz on sky saw it , was he the only one ?

Got away with one there. Not sure it would have made a massive change to the result had they been penalized tho... so....
