    Can't help but point you two posts above AGs. We are in a middle ground, we didn't get a £20m striker in but we did get Demba Ba who is clearly comparable to the £8m-£10m strikers we were all chuntering about. Apart from that the squad is stronger, we're doing well in the league and didn't lose anybody without replacing them a la Carroll. Teams around us haven't particularly strengthened, all the way up to Spurs who had to sell loads just to get Scott Parker(!) in. I'm relatively happy which means I'm probably a mackem, ******ed, or whatever is starred out...

    This. We all love the club and have no input on the decisions made by it. We are victims equally but have the right to our own opinions.

    Insulting those who don't agree with you just doesn't make sense.

    The fact is we should've done more. I was delighted in mid-July, we had a great nucleus to build upon, the fact is we (by that I mean the board) didn't want to. The club are more content with mid-table mediocrity and £30m in their back pockets than pushing on and targeting Europe. That's not how a football club should be run.

    What's the point in supporting the club knowing its not striving to achieve anything? I'd rather see us in League 1 fighting with a cause and a purpose, than see us drifting obscurely in mid table to turn one ****er a steady profit.

    5 year plan?


    I don't think the idea was ever to get back into Europe in the next couple of years. For now (I hope) we're looking to sort out all the financial problems and make sure that when we do we can go for it. Only time will tell
