I really don't know what to predict on this one, always one of my favourite fixtures of the season. So let's look at our line up, Barcham, Piggot, Oshilaja, Wagstaff....Oops hang-on that's the Gillingham B Team not us I love Barcham and would like to see Wagstaff prove a point or two, but Wimbledon are not looking rosy in 20th place, yet they started so well! They beat Fleetwood away, held Coventry, beat Portsmouth away in the cup, even held Barnsley away. Then it all went wrong and not won for about 4 games but then neither have the Gills, hopefully a classic... Gills 3-3 Wimbledon (Eaves, Hanlan, Fuller + Wagstaff x3)
Wimbledon ??????????????????????? Beat Fleetwood away. Beat Portsmouth away in the EFL cup. Draws against Barnsley and Burton away, and Coventry at home. Lost against Sunderland and Walsall. So 2 losses against top 6 sides, but also 2 wins against top six sides, they have also had 3 draws 1 of which was against a top 6 team. This won't be the easy game some people think. This is a classic, both teams played top teams with different results, it has a draw alway as 4 of the last 5 have been 3x2-2 and a 1-1 in between we lost 2-0. Only due to their last few results Gills 2 v wombles 2 ( eaves, parker, Barcham and Piggot)
