Yeah I get that, if we have to take our best striker off because he’s runnig around like an idiot then maybe Adkins needs to get the rest of the team doing more, so Campbell can concentrate on what strikers are suppose to do

I don’t think instructing Fraizer to stop being the player he has been for his entire career is going to help anyone. It’s reasonable to manage his fitness, but it’s frustrsting when that disturbs momentum in a match. I would have risked leaving him on yesterday but the concept of managing his fitness and let him be the effective player he is, is sound.

Maybe we should get the rest of the team to help him out more, or consider playing 2 up top.
The way I see it is if Fc is our best striker, we are at best going to be in a relegation scrap so we aren’t going to create millions of chances so we need our best striker on the putch as long as possible. We were at home yesterday so why not put another striker on for the last 20mins with Fc. Takes the burden off fc and we go with 2 strikers and show a bit of ambition to win games especially at home

Maybe we he’s signed Martin. For how good Frazier was yesterday sometimes we miss a threat up the pitch.

My simplified view is we got the best out of him ten years ago. And he has done nothing of note since. He came back here because there was nowhere else.

Which explains why he hasn't been pulling up trees since he left us.

I wouldn’t have him back for corners (even though he seems to be the best one at dealing with them!)

I have a feeling nige will be drilling the team in 3-5-2 over the international break.
That will be good for Campbell with Martin alongside him.
A back three of Elphick de Wijs and Burke.
Lichaj and Kingsley as wing backs.
    Maybe...

Given that we've just signed another striker, I suspect you will get some of what you ask for. I can't see Adkins going with two strikers though, it's not his way (and not the way of many other managers in this League).

All in all, sounds as if it was a half decent performance, particularly in the 2nd half. I must say I was expecting a drubbing but falling asleep at halftime I thought I would wake up to a heavy defeat, but if though we lost, sounded they gave it a good go in the 2nd period.

Good to hear Batty seemed to have a good game, he seems to be growing into the roll game by game. On the situation with Keane, I think the criticism is a bit unfair, he really hasn't been given the game time to play himself into anything like decent form. Just getting 15 minutes here and there isn't enough for him to get up to the speed of the game or have time to get fully match fit.

As Chazz mentioned, I liked to see them play 3-5-2 with Elphick - Burke- Wijs at the back with Martin and Campell up front.

I agree about the back 3 but that would probably mean no Lichaj in the team though I'd rather drop Jordy but unless Lichaj can play in a three we don't have options.
As Kane would most likely be a better attacking option at wing back.
But agree we need to get Martin and Campbell in the team.
Henricksen, Batty and Evandro as the 3 in midfield with Irvine to come on for Evandro and Bowen for Campbell at the usual 70 minute mark.
