With all due respect. This is bollocks. Dembele was signed on the basis that he would be let go. He was never there to see out his contract. He wanted to put himself in the shop window for what he wanted and Celtic wanted the profit. Spurs etc were after him but he went to you and fufilled his end of the bargain. He scored in every comp and kept his form up to earn you millions. You then didn't keep your end and denied him. He was rightly pissed off.
