Some of the comments on the latest tweet from Sutton about dembele, make me sick. I’ve never liked Rogers. I believe the big man was made a promise and it was reneged on.
He was a classy player, a luxury Celtic could afford but chose to make him the villain.

Dembele's a twat. Just because you fancied him doesn't make it any less so. No club signs players with the caveat that we'll let you go whenever you feel like it. Some players have instructions written into their contracts that if a bid of a certain amount or above is triggered then they can seek to talk to a club but that's clearly not what happened with Dembele.

It was the last couple of days of the transfer window and there was no time to find a replacement so Celtic and Rodgers were within their rights to dismiss the bid from Lyon. The fact that Dembele then acted like a petulant man-child in order to get his move kind of dispels the myth of him being a "classy player".

I don't blame him for wanting to treble his wages but the way he went about it showed no respect to the manager, to Celtic FC or to the fans. As far as I'm concerned it's good riddance to the chancer. I just hope for Lyon's sake that he manager to go three games in a row without pulling a hamstring. A feat he rarely managed with Celtic.

You’re choosing to believe a manager and a board who put profit over quality of team. I don’t. The board are sneaky bastards and Rogers is a tranny shagger.
Did I fancy Moussa? Probably a wee bit but for him, a 20 year old young man, to be as upset as he seems to have been over the whole debacle, it rings of truth to me, at least in some part.
