To all those bashing Shane, remember when Mane started. Ran like a headless chicken, couldn't pass further than 2 yards, kept losing the ball and snatched at every shot. Shane is just a late bloomer
Fantastic result be we really disnt play very well at all. We were far better against burnley (2nd half) and arguably leicester too. But still, 3 points is what matters and we did deserve it as palace were even worse. Ings looks a great buy, as does Vestergaard, Cedric against showed he is not good enough.
With the best will in the world you can't say Long is a tremendous goal threat. Yes he has many other attributes but scoring a shed load of goals per season is not one of them. So basically we have to work with what we've got and that fault lies squarely with the board for the lack of investment in the team. For what it's worth I don't really think any of our strikers can be decent especially when Austin, who looks unfit and was gasping for breath after barely 10 minutes. is MH's next go to man. Maybe it's big Sam's break through year?
That's what he does. Add a clinical finsh to his repertoire and you'd have one hell of a player - probably not a Saints player though.
I don’t think we were that bad. Thought we were a threat going forward, dominated possession when we needed to and defended well considering the confidence we’ve had recently. Do agree about Cedric, gifts possession far to easily for me.
Yellows! Yellows! Yellows! Have some of that, just what the doctor ordered... can even watch Motd tonight
Benteke very close for motm, very close indeed! Were I him, I'd pull the curtains and go straight to sleep once home!
I can help with that, Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo Baby shark.
Today on Twitter, some guy saying Big Mac fluffed two punched clearances and should be replaced by Gunn! I kid you not...
That's not fair, getting home a reaping the full glory of the result rather than listening/watching us being 0-1 up with ages to go and clinging on attack after attack.
