Wondered if Chilco was in the middle of his speech today and give it the big Yeeeeeeeessssssss when Ings scored
Two away wins and clean sheets in a row, hopefully breathes some confidence into the side. I think we are starting to find our starting team.
I had the match up on my projector hooked up to Bein5 whilst simultaneously cooking a roast dinner for some guests we have staying. As I had to keep one ear on the match whilst chefing, I was sorry to hear of Shah Knee Lung's injury, delighted with Elle Eeeeeee Anne Noosey's late winner and can confirm that every other piece of action warrants a cry so similar to the Brazilian "Goooooooooooooaaaaaaaallll!" that I think I covered about 5k between the kitchen and the living room just in the second half. YELLOWS!
Any three points is massive, but a win now is psychologically massiver. To lose again (or drop a couple of points) after trying so hard can knock the guts out of any team...especially one that is trying to sort itself out, so hasn't the confidence built up from a lot of success. Pleased for Austin as he doesn't have to live with the guilt of dropped points. Oh, and is McCarthy the same goalkeeper that made a couple of mistakes recently and some fans wanted dropped.
Just a question to throw out. Maybe because SFC were playing away, they were more relaxed and could play their own game. At home, in front of a highly critical home crowd, they try too hard and thus make mistakes in defence, miss chances in attack and misplace passes too often. Fingers crossed for the next home game.
Nice for Pierre, but also pleased for Targett (I am a fan). He has had valuable influence in just a bit of match time.
Can’t believe I have lasted this long without alcohol. Got to drive out later but mrs no7 is driving home.
