Potter is at the start of a rebuilding process which means we are unlikely to be challenging for promotion this season although I still hope for a top half finish. He will need to see how players who have been under 23 regulars will perform in the first team which is why we won't see much of Dyer or Routledge this season. This is why I would like to see a midfield of Fer, Byers and Maric instead of the unfit Fulton. So my team would be:- Mulder Roberts VDH Rodon Olssen Maric Fer Byers Celina Mcburnie Montero Subs Nordfelt Naughton John CCV Asoro Dhanda CB-R If he decides to play Roberts in front of Naughton then I would like to see Byers drop to the bench instead of Dhanda I'm not worried about our skill levels but a bit about the physical side in midfield.
Same for myself , Imo I believe we have sufficient talent at the Club to make ago of it , maybe it won't be at C/Ship level either which does worry me because if we go down to league 1 it'll be an excuse for the owners to sell yet more assets but putting little or nothing back.
I was impressed with the way we played against palace, so Potts has a difficult job with selection......Whoever he chooses will give a good account of themselves i'm sure......
would rather lose with a team of young hungry tryhards than a team of overpaid lazy fcukers, i see Bartley, Ayew and Mawson all playing this weekend, Hope we can get a draw, disappointed with no loan signings, match on live here, 230am ko for me. will watch it, quick nap then fathers day celebrations combined with granddaughters birthday celebration.
Swans: Erwin Mulder, Connor Roberts, Mike van der Hoorn, Joe Rodon, Martin Olsson, Daniel James, Leroy Fer (capt), Matt Grimes, Bersant Celina, Courtney Baker-Richardson, Oli McBurnie. Subs: Kristoffer Nordfeldt, Kyle Naughton, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Tom Carroll, Yan Dhanda, Jefferson Montero, Joel Asoro.
So, with Nordfeldt on the bench, does that mean that Mulder is now officially first choice? The truth is out there.....
