Very few still implies that at least one situation exists where all three are required to come on. I'm not convinced.
I know it's not on the same level as no Zaha for Palace, but no Tomkins once again is also something to note (given that Dann too is injured). Martin Kelly is barely a defender, let alone a CB.
At Schipol 16:35 flight to Southampton arrives 16:45. Not the best timing. Looking forward to a celebratory beer after good win. COYR.
Three managers in a row have preferred Long to Gabbi. Makes you think that maybe, just maybe, Long is the better player after all.
It’s simple they both lack goals but Shane’s work rate is 100 times better. Therefore it’s not really a tough decision in who you pick. You can reel stats off all day long but that fact is we don’t create the chances Gabbi thrives off so therefore playing him and expecting him to have any influence on a game is borderline insanity. Plus I like Shane’s no ****s given attitude and will happily bust his bollocks for you .
You've forgotten the 40 yarder against Villa? I bet you wouldn't have if it was Gabbi that scored it.
The 40 yarder v Villa will forever be remembered as 'something that happened in the Mane hattrick game'
Shane is a team player, that's why he gets selected, but I would like to see Gabbi after a good run of games starting up front in a two, my guess is that he would accumulate a few goals.
