I was happy with that team last weekend, and I'm happy with it again. Yes being so attacking could backfire on us badly, but after the last two years, I don't really care right now. I'd have had Armstrong and Gabbi on the bench ahead of Targett and Davis, mind.
Still feel that every team we put out is sort of experimental. Could just put their numbers in a bag and select at random.
I like that line up, might come back to haunt MH but at least he’s got the minerals to give it a go away from home.
Feel for Armstrong. He looked well suited to the 3-5-2 formation we used all of pre-season, but doesn't fit the 4-4-2 we've swapped to since 45 minutes into the season
I'm very much in the "would like to see more of Gabbi " camp. But if you're deciding who, out of him and Austin, to have on the bench, Charlie picks himself. It's Long who is the controversial choice, obviously. So go on Shane; prove Hughesie right
I'm quite fond of god, he she or it appears to have done me a few favours in the past. The queen, possibly not so much. Sweet old dear, but if she's the last monarch I won't complain.
Romeu, Davis and JWP all on the bench. Very few situations I can imagine where 2 of the 3 wouldn't have been sufficient
I'd like to see us score goals. There ought to be goals in that side imo. Maybe today the dam will burst (at which end of the pitch, who knows?)
