Good luck and enjoy. The proudest thing I have ever done was walk my daughter down the aisle. Brings goosebumps to me just remembering it :)

Don’t worry about us, the thread is safe. Nice easy win and we’ll all (except @The Liebherr Legacy :) ) have a nice drink tonight to toast you & your family, me and of course the Saints :)

Can anyone advise me.....In our family over the years when there has been a wedding one tier of the wedding cake was saved and used at the christening of the first born. Is there others that have that tradition??
Oh incidentally the tradition has been carried on so far with my Children and my children's children. Lovely tradition in my view........

Yep my daughter did that - apparently no one in the US does it so they thought it was weird, but enjoyed it at the christening anyway [emoji16]

You are in good company....the Royals do it as well.
Only really works with fruit cake that keeps, so not possible with many modern cakes. Lovely idea.

Well it was between Chelsea, Millwall or Saints . I went for saints purely because Mother goose liked them and didn’t want to be sheep. 3 pretty short straws which ever one I picked tbh<laugh>

My family do but it is for the naming ceremony as we are a bunch of atheists and republicans. Can't be doing with all this God and Queen nonsense.

God is on our side today because we are the Saints but The Queen is on the side of the Palace. Atheists and Republicans are rooting for a draw!
