During the "invincible" season we only had Dembele and Griffiths as our two main front men. Now we have Edouard and Griffiths.

If they get injured we're probably ****ed but that's true of most teams. Who would Rangers play up front if Morelos and Lafferty both got injured at the same time?

A lot of Celtic goals come from midfield: Sinclair, McGregor and Forrest, in particular. We've signed an attacking midfielder/winger in Arzani from Man City and brought in a £13m defender from Leicester. Mulumbu gives us the chance to rest Scott Brown in some games and Izaguirre gives us cover for Tierney. Boyata hasn't left and we've looked more solid at the back in the past couple of games, albeit against piss poor opposition.

It's disappointing to lose Dembele but he clearly wanted to go so there was no point in keeping the spoiled child. The timing wasn't good, obviously. People mentioning him in the same class as the likes of Larsson are mental. He's a good player but the difference between him and Larsson is that the Swede tried in every game, not just the big ones.

Also, the guy had hamstrings made from elastic bands. He missed about as many games due to injury than he actually played in.

 

Pretty much sums up my feelings tbph. Dembele had to go, no point in hanging on to him because he clearly was not going to try a leg until January, i'm disappointed that we don't have time to replace him but hey ho, onwards and upwards.
