Jose is without doubt a wind-up merchant at times, but he has won it all. Love him or loathe him he has been a star of football management across Europe. The way the press media have continually jumped on him and cannot avoid having a go at him is pathetic. That said he just won’t take a back seat and let it die down - the media tactics are so transparent, but sometimes you have to have a little respect for him to stand up to them all - not sure it is a battle he will ever win as they paint him in a way that people only see his egotistical comments. Media do love to knock someone down in this country - nothing short of bullying in my book.
Happy days for Australian and NZ fans. Early morning kick off for us. Clocks will have gone back in Aus, so it’s a 5.45am kick off.
Allison mugged trying to be clever. As my old mate Peter Lavers used to say 'you can't play football, that's why you're in goal'.
I'll take that as a compliment but good grief, no. I once met the bloke who wrote those headlines a few years ago. I can't remember his name though.
When they show the match statistics on MOTD, they have a thing called 'expected goals'. Does anyone understand this?
GRrrr Bound to be working When will sky start doing Saturday night game's 8 at night will suit me Get it done sky
Good to see Wolves get their first win of the season against What a Sham United. Sham have spent 100 mill and a new manager and nothing to show for it. Looks like we weren’t the only ones to have a bunch of mercenaries in the team.
Anyone notice our ex player El-Khayati scored all 4 goals when Den Haag won away at Excelsior. He is the first player ever to do it in the Dutch league. Curse of the Rs strikes again Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
I know the level of football up here is poor, but the standard of refereeing has just taken a nose-dive.... Partick Thistle FC @PartickThistle Sep. 2, 2018 12:00:15 AM Over the line? Intriguing Old Firm match - for all their dominance (Celtic have had 75% possession) they are holding on to a slender 1-0 lead.....will Stevie G taste defeat for the first time in his managerial career?
